Our feature presentation…

Have you noticed that we’ve been making some changes for January? Most exciting might be the addition of a Wii Game Day and a Movie Day for the enjoyment of our young patrons!  Both are designed as drop-in programs for anyone who would like to come, though they are probably most appropriate for children in Kindergarten and older. Stop by the Reading Adventure Room on Tuesday, January 15th or Tuesday, January 29th to take part in these fun programs! Additionally, I just wanted to share how much fun we’ve been having in our book clubs! We still have slots available for the Early Chapter Readers (reading Flat Stanley this month), and we just received a few more copies of Mr. Popper’s Penguins for Chapter Readers Book Club, geared towards 4th and 5th graders.  Stop by our desk to sign up and receive your copy of one of these great books. Book clubs are great fun: not only do we talk about the books we read, but we also have snacks and play games! It’s a great way to get your child excited about reading, and it’s also an excellent way to make new friends. Thanks for visiting! -Courtney
