Clouds That Look Like Spilt Milk

Do you ever look into the sky and see ice cream cones, bunnies, or trees? You might if you use your imagination! All those fluffy clouds can be anything you’d like. Miss Alexis explored this idea in this week’s afterschool activity, “Clouds That Look Like Spilt Milk.” She read Charles G. Shaw’s It Looked Like Spilt Milk, then read Eric Carle’s Little Cloud. After storytime the kids were invited to create their own unique cloud shapes with cotton balls. Look at the photos below to see their beautiful creations! We can’t wait for nice warm weather and the chance to stare up at the sky all day long. 🙂
